Quality Director
- Summary:
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the quality control team, ensuring efficient operations and ongoing professional development of the team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Oversee and audit quality control processes during production, and provide recommendations for improvements to ensure product quality.
- Coordinate and communicate quality-related issues, collaborating with relevant departments to address quality concerns.
- Prepare for and participate in relevant audits, inspections, and certifications to ensure the company meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management, and integrate them into the company's quality processes.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of success in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry, including FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team and collaborate across departments.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze complex data and identify solutions to quality-related issues.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
